FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that LS Tucker Addington has been released from the practice squad.
Addington, 27, spent part of training camp this past summer with New England and was signed to the practice squad on Oct. 11. He was elevated to the active roster and handled long snapping duties for the game vs. Houston on Oct. 13. Addington played in three games with New England during the 2022 season after being signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad following a season-ending injury to LS Joe Cardona. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder, went to training camp last season with New England but was released on Aug. 15. He then spent time with Jacksonville in training camp and then joined Washington's 53-man roster late in the season, seeing action in three games. Addington played college football at Sam Houston State and was signed by Dallas to the practice squad on Oct. 5, 2022 after playing for the Houston Gamblers of the USFL in 2022.
