FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have traded DB Duron Harmon to the Detroit Lions. Terms of the trade were not disclosed.
Harmon, 29, is a veteran of seven seasons with New England after originally entering the NFL as a third-round draft pick (91st overall) out of Rutgers in the 2013 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder was a part of three Super Bowl Championships with the Patriots. Harmon has played in 111 regular-season games with 29 starts and has registered 171 tackles, 17 interceptions for 193 yards, 28 passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. In addition, he has played 17 postseason contests with six starts and has accumulated 15 tackles, four interceptions for 39 yards and five passes defensed.
