FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have re-signed RB Deshaun Fenwick. Fenwick was originally signed by New England as a rookie free agent out of Oregon State on May 10, 2024 and was released on August 2, 2024. In addition, the Patriots released rookie free agent DE John Morgan.

Fenwick, 24, played his first three college seasons at South Carolina before transferring to Oregon State for three more seasons. The 6-foot-1, 223-pounder, played in 50 collegiate games and had 385 rushing attempts for 2,118 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Morgan, 24, was signed by New England as a rookie free agent out of Arkansas on May 10, 2024. The 6-foot-1, 252-pounder played his first five seasons at Pittsburgh (2018-22) before transferring to Arkansas for the 2023 season. He played in 11 games for Arkansas last season and finished with 15 total tackles.
