FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced that they have signed OL Caleb Benenoch (pronounced – ben-en-KNOCK). Terms of the contract were not announced. To make room for Benenoch, New England has placed OL Isaiah Wynn on injured reserve.
Benenoch, 25, is a veteran of three NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2016-18). The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder, entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick (148th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2016 NFL Draft out of UCLA. He has played in 35 games with 22 starts. Last season, he started all 16 games at right guard. Benenoch was released by Tampa Bay on Sept. 11, 2019 after playing in a reserve role in the Buccaneers Week 1 game against San Francisco.
