The Patriots announced today that they have signed rookie DE Jamree Kromah to the 53-man roster from the Chicago practice squad. In addition, the Patriots placed LB Oshane Ximines on injured reserve.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed rookie DE Jamree Kromah to the 53-man roster from the Chicago practice squad. In addition, the Patriots placed LB Oshane Ximines on injured reserve.

Kromah, 24, was originally signed by Chicago as a rookie free agent out of James Madison on May 9, 2024. The 6-foot-4, 275-pounder, was released by Chicago on Aug. 27 and signed to the practice squad on Aug. 28. As a senior in 2023, he started all 13 games and finished with 60 total tackles and 11 sacks. Kromah transferred to James Madison after playing four seasons at Rutgers.
