FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed rookie free agent WR David Wallis. In addition, the Patriots released OL Andrew Stueber.
Wallis, 22, played college football at Randolph-Macon and participated in the Patriots rookie mini-camp in May. The 6-foot, 184-pounder played in 42 games and finished with 146 receptions for 3,144 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Stueber, 24, originally was drafted by New England in the seventh round (245th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Michigan. The 6-foot-7, 318-pounder, spent his rookie season on the NFI List and spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster for two games but did not see any game action.
