FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that they have released LB Jontrey Hunter.

Hunter, 24, was signed by New England as a rookie free agent on May 10, 2024 out of Georgia State. The 6-foot-2, 234-pounder, played in 53 games over six collegiate seasons at Georgia State and finished with 234 total tackles and six sacks. He earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2023 after finishing with 96 total tackles.
