FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced today that OL Jerome Carvin and TE Jack Westover have been signed to the practice squad. Carvin spent time on the New England practice squad earlier this year.
Carvin, 24, was signed by New England to the practice squad on Aug. 29, 2024 and released on Sept. 10, 2024. The 6-foot-3, 308-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Kansas City on May 6, 2023 out of Tennessee. He was released by Kansas City at the end of training camp before being signed to the Chicago practice squad on Jan. 1, 2024. Carvin was released by Chicago on Aug. 26, 2024.
Westover, 25, was signed by Seattle as a rookie free agent out of Washington on May 5, 2024. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder, was released by Seattle on Aug. 30, 2024. He appeared in 53 games during his college career and was named a 2023 All-Pac 12 honorable mention after finishing the season with 46 receptions for 433 yards.
